Samsung launches 5G Exynos 880 Processor

Samsung has announced 5G smartphones which will come in Mid-Range phones. This will be slow in comparison to Exynos 980 and Exynos 990 processor. Samsung company has shared the details and specifications of the Exynos 880 processor.

Samsung provided the full details of the smartphone that will support a full HD display that is up to 1080 pixels. Ths processor will provide you a long battery life. It is an Octa-core processor which is paired with LPDDR4X RAM which accumulates UFS 2.1 Speed and has Storage version eMMC 5.1

 This Processor has 8nm architecture and consists of two Cortex-A77(Clocked 2 GHz) which is used for high workload and has Six Cortex-A55(Clocked 1.8 GHz) which is used for light work. It comes with the Neural Processing Unit(NPU).

It has the capability to support a 5G network with a 6GHz band, with a download speed of 2.55Gbps that was previously 1Gbps download speed. It includes connectivity features like FM radio, Bluetooth 5.0, wifi, and many more.

Samsung launches 5G Exynos 980 Processor

Samsung had announced Exynos 980 on 5th September 2019. It is the first 5G integrated mobile that will come in Mid-Range mobile phones.

The chip has an Octa-Core CPU and a powerful GPU with an integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU). This processor took you to the next level of net surfing with low latency and minimal lag. Exynos 980 with the support of 5G has 6GHz, which enables the fastest downloading speed up to 2.5Gbps. 

The processor has an 8nm chipset and has 8 core, two Cortex-A77 CPU for Medium work tasks, and our Cortex-A55 CPU to handle the simple tasks. The graphic Processing unit has a version of Mali-G76 MPS. It has LPDDR4x RAM and Storage type UFS 2.1.

The 5G modem enables a download speed 2.55 Gbps and uploading speed is 1.2 Gbps. With primary camera is up to 108MP and dual camera 20MP and 20MP. Exynos 980 is able to record 4K quality Video with 120fps encoding and decoding.

Samsung launches 5G Exynos 990 Processor

The Latest chipset of this year 2020 is Exynos 990, which is inbuilt in Galaxy S20 Smartphones. It has a tri-cluster CPU that is arranged in the same manner as Qualcomm and Huawei’s HiSilicon. It has two CPU custom-designed for a heavy workload, two Cortex-A76 CPU for Medium work tasks, and our Cortex-A55 CPU to handle the simple tasks.

It is generally packed with ARM-G77 MP11 GPU Flagship. It records 8K videos and has a primary camera 108MP which supports 120Hz screen fresh support. It supports a 5G viz bundled modem. It comes with the Neural Processing Unit (NPU).

In single-core performance, Exynos 990  has a high Antutu and Geekbench score in comparison to Snapdragon 865.

In Multi-core Performance, Qualcomm snapdragon is a little bit faster than Exynos 990.
